The New York Rangers moved on to the Eastern Conference Semifinals with a 5-0 win over the Washington Capitals in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series Monday night.

The Rangers got a first-period goal from Arron Asham, second-period goals from Taylor Pyatt and Michael Del Zotto, and third-period goals from Ryan Callahan and Mats Zuccarello in Game 7.

Henrik Lundqvist made 35 saves for his second shutout in as many games.

The Rangers will play the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Boston overcame a three-goal third period deficit Monday night to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in overtime in Game 7 of their first-round series.
