The Nets' first season in Brooklyn ended Saturday night with a 99-93 loss to the Chicago Bulls in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at Barclays Center.
Chicago's Joakim Noah scored 24 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Bulls' effort, while Bulls guard Marco Belinelli also contributed 14 points.
The Nets trailed 61-44 at halftime. They were able to get within four points of the Bulls at two different points of the second half, but could get no closer.
Deron Williams led the Nets with 24 points. Brook Lopez contributed 21 points and 9 rebounds, while Gerald Wallace had 19 points for Brooklyn.
Brooklyn forward Joe Johnson shot 2-for-14 for the field in the game, finishing with just six points.
Chicago moves on to play the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
