Quarterback Mark Sanchez could be pushed for his starting job with the Jets.
The Jets took West Virginia University QB Geno Smith in the second round of the NFL Draft -- a possible sign of the end of Sanchez's four-year reign as Gang Green's main man under center.
In his final college season at West Virginia, Smith threw 42 touchdown passes and just six interceptions.
Some analysts had Smith as one of the top ten players in this year's draft.
Meantime, Sanchez threw just 13 touchdowns coupled with 18 interceptions last season for the Jets.
