The New York Yankees have their backs against the wall as they look to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The team earned a reprieve of sorts when Game 4 of the American League Championship Series was rained out last night.
Currently down 3-0, the Bronx Bombers have to pull off a win and will have to do it without Alex Rodriguez or Curtis Granderson in the line-up.
The team says they just have battle through their struggles and get the job done.
"We rally around each other in here. We know it's not going as well for us as we'd like. But that's what makes this team great - we always rally around - we always pick each other up," said Yankees Outfielder Nick Swisher.
"Would I like to be in a position where I didn't have to make changes? Absolutely. But there's been some real struggles in our line up. And we had to do something," said Yankees Manager Joe Girardi.
The starting pitchers for Game 4 remain the same with CC Sabathia getting the ball for the Yanks against Detroit's Max Scherzer.
If the Yankees can push the series to a Game 7 on Sunday they have to do it with no days off and without Sabathia who would be unavailable to pitch.
