The Yankees are preparing to face the Tigers Saturday in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series just one day after knocking off the Orioles in Game 5 of the Division Series.

Andy Pettitte will start for the Yankees against Doug Fister for the Tigers.

CC Sabathia was the star of Game 5 Friday night. He pitched a complete game, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out nine.

He's the first Yankee to throw a complete game in the postseason since Roger Clemens did it 12 years ago.

Game 1 of the ALCS against the Tigers is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
