The Brooklyn Nets held a shootaround Sunday on their brand-new court inside Barclays Center.

Players NY1 spoke with said the practice helped them get used to their new digs.

"Everything is so much bigger and nicer than what we're used to," said Nets forward Kris Humphries. "But it comes down to fans at the games and us playing hard and winning games."

"It's just getting comfortable with the settings, the backgrounds," said Nets guard Joe Johnson. "Especially if you're a shooter or scorer, it's just familiarity."

"They spared no expense," said Nets guard Deron Williams. "They thought of everything. Our locker room is great. I've been around everything."

"It's very important for us to get used to our home," said Nets coach Avery Johnson. "Locker rooms, showers, training room."

The Nets' first game at the arena will be a pre-season matchup against the Wizards on Oct. 15.

Their regular-season home opener will be against the Knicks on Nov. 1.
