One of the New York Jets' best offensive players, Santonio Holmes, is likely out for the season, as sources tell the Associated Press the wide receiver has an injured left foot.
Holmes injured the foot during Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.
X-rays were negative, but MRI results determined the severity of the injury.
It happened a week after the team lost cornerback Darrelle Revis for the season with a left knee injury.
