The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets had their media days Monday, but Los Angeles Lakers fans also have something to cheer about.

Basketball fans who want to see more of Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Steve Nash and the rest of the Lakers can now turn to Time Warner Cable SportsNet on Channel 427.

Spanish-speaking viewers can turn to Time Warner Deportes on Channel 428 for the first regional sports network in Spanish.

Time Warner Cable launched both networks Monday at 7 p.m. Pacific time.

Time Warner Cable Sports Pass subscribers will be treated to behind-the-scenes coverage and team interviews.

New York City viewers will not be able to see games, but the network will feature Lakers classic games.

The channels will also be home to David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy and the WNBA’s L.A. Sparks.

Time Warner Cable is the parent company of NY1.
