At 50 years old, former Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens is taking the mound again, as he signed with the minor-league Sugar Land Skeeters in Houston on Monday.
The seven-time Cy Young award winner is expected to start for them Saturday. It will be his first start since pitching for the Yankees in 2007.
In June, Clemens was acquitted of charges he lied to Congress about using performance-enhancing drugs.
Clemens will appear on the Hall of Fame ballot for the first time later this year, assuming he does not pitch another game in the majors.
If he does, he will not be eligible for the Hall of Fame for another five years.
