The judge in the perjury trial of former New York Yankees player Roger Clemens has excused a third juror, as the juror's mother passed away.
Judge Reggie Watson previously dismissed two other jurors for sleeping, leaving only one alternate left.
Prosecutors are expected to wrap up their case today, and Clemens' attorneys are preparing to begin their defense.
His lawyers say they will need seven or eight days to present their case.
The seven-time Cy Young Award winner is accused of lying to Congress about using performance-enhancing drugs.
