Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire has left the team to be with his family in Florida after his older brother was killed in a car crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Hazell Stoudemire, 35, crashed his SUV into a tractor trailer early Monday morning.
Police are investigating the cause.
It's unclear when Stoudemire will rejoin the team.
