New talks are planned in an effort to reach an agreement between Time Warner Cable and MSG networks.
Sources say the two sides will meet early next week in Manhattan.
The talks are being overseen by State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
In a dispute over programming fees, MSG pulled MSG and MSG Plus off Time Warner Cable's lineup on New Year's Day.
That left Time Warner Cable subscribers without Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils games.
A spokesman for Time Warner Cable, NY1's parent company, said the company has had constructive talks with the attorney general's office.
MSG said it's looking forward to the meeting.
