Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is coming to the aid of Time Warner Cable customers who've been without MSG since the start of the new year.

His office is acting as an intermediary in hopes of resolving the dispute over programming fees.

Time Warner subscribers have been without Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils games since MSG was pulled.

Time Warner Cable, NY1's parent company, says it remains hopeful MSG will come up with a reasonable offer.

MSG issued a statement which reads "We appreciate the attorney general's offer to meet with us to discuss our dispute with Time Warner Cable and we look forward to the meeting."
