With the NBA lockout now officially over, players are finally starting practice today.

NBA training camps are opening after players and owners voted to ratify a new collective bargaining agreement to end the five month work stoppage.

Free agency is also back up and running, and players are free to sign with teams.

The New York Knicks are said to be close to adding center Tyson Chandler which would give the team a formidable big three, along with Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony.

Sources also say Orlando all-star Dwight Howard has asked the team to trade him to the New Jersey Nets, though no deal is believed to be imminent.
