Besides the new Citi Field and its sleek additions, there's been an unmistakable change at the concession stands. NY1's Cheryl Wills filed the following report.

It was a feast for the eyes and for the stomach Tuesday as Mets executives formally unveiled the menu for the new Citi Field.

"We hope our fans love it. And the ability to get any of these food offerings at any seat category is pretty neat," said Mets COO Jeff Wilpon.

But it's not just any old stadium food. Internationally acclaimed restauranteurs are teaming up with Citi Field to bring a unique taste to the ballpark including Korean short rib salad, specialty sushi and gourmet pizzas.

"You could have a fish sandwich, corn and clam chowder, you can go get a porketa sandwich. The options are excellent," said Citi Field Chef Dave Pasternack.

And while there's a whole lot of fancy food options at the new home of the Mets, there's nothing like an old fashioned baseball staple -- the hot dog.

"Natural casing dogs, the old-fashioned style. It's got the real snap to it and it's the best hot dog you could sell," said Citi Field Executive Chef Edward Lake.

Mets officials say the new food offerings will be affordable. And with dozens of new concession stands ready to serve eager fans, it may just prove the notion that if you cook it, they will come.
