Two FDNY Vehicles Crushed During WTC Attack Head For Virginia Museum

Two New York City Fire Department vehicles salvaged from the World Trade Center site after the September 11th terrorist attacks are going to be displayed at a museum near Washington, D.C.
The Port Authority is transferring the FDNY vehicles from a hangar at John F. Kennedy International Airport to the Pentagon.
The vehicles responded to the Twin Towers on the morning of September 11, 2011.
"A fire engine from Squad 252 on which six members of the Fire Department of New York died on 9/11 and another Fire Department vehicle are being transported with a police escort, including the Port Authority Police Department, the Police Department of New York City and other police departments along the way," said Port Authority Executive Director Patrick Foye.
Their final destination is the National Museum Of Americans In Wartime, which is now under construction in Virginia.
