"Serious Moonlight" had its world premiere Saturday night at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.

The film is about a husband about to leave his wife for a much younger woman. Rather than divorce, the wife, played by Meg Ryan, decides to kidnap him and force him to stay.

"I thought that this character was very ingenious that way, she never even tried rope, she went right for the duct tape," said Ryan.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm's" Cheryl Hines directed the film.

"You're watching it and you think 'oh it's a comedy, oh no it's a drama, is it?' So it's fun to be on that ride and to just you know roll with it, but then go 'I don't know what it is', it's fun to watch," said Hines.

The film was written by Adrienne Shelly who was tragically killed before the release of her first major motion picture "Waitress" at the Sundance Film Festival last year. Her husband, Andy Ostroy, is one of the producers of the film.

"Take a tragedy and turn it into something positive, get the work out there and build the legacy," said Ostroy.

"A lot of the people who worked on 'Waitress' worked on this movie. So there was nothing but, I think a lot of love and a lot of affection and a feeling that they were happy to be working with her words and with her spirit," said Ryan.

Like many movies in a film festival, this movie hasn't been sold yet. It doesn't have distribution and it won't be in theaters near you any time soon, but they're looking for someone to buy the film at Tribeca.
