NY1 VIDEO: As NY1 News revisits its 20-year history, the station looks back at reporter Jeff Simmons' April 13, 1998 story about actions that were taken after a steel and concrete beam fell from an overhang inside the old Yankee Stadium onto a seat below.

NY1 FOLLOW-UP: The Yankees wound up only having to play one game at Shea Stadium that week before they were allowed back into their own stadium. They went on to win their second World Series in three years later that season, and the old Yankee Stadium was eventually torn down in 2010.
