NY1 FOLLOW-UP: The killing of Biggie Smalls remains unsolved. Books and articles written on the topic speculate about the involvement of rival rappers and a police cover-up, but no one has been charged in the case. A wrongful death suit filed by his family against the city of Los Angeles was dismissed in 2010.
