NY1 VIDEO: On February 25, 2000, the four city police officers who shot Amadou Diallo were acquitted of all charges, and both supporters of the Diallo family and the accused officers made their voices heard. That day, NY1's Arthur Chien filed this report at the Albany courthouse.

NY1 FOLLOW-UP: Both Ed McMellon and Richard Murphy went on to join the New York City Fire Department. Sean Carroll retired from the NYPD. Kenneth Boss served in Iraq with the Marines, and is still a member of the NYPD, on modified duty and is not allowed to carry a gun.
