NY1 VIDEO: As NY1 revisits its 20-year history, the station looks back at reporter Davidson Golden's August 2004 coverage as the city prepared to host the Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden.

NY1 FOLLOW-UP: Protests and heightened security marked the four days the RNC was in New York. According to the NYCLU, over 800 people were arrested protesting the convention -- a record at the time.
