NY1 VIDEO: Michael Jackson's high-profile child molestation case dominated headlines up until his acquittal in June of 2005. In New York, crowds gathered around the jumbotron in Times Square as the news broke. Tanya Valle filed the following report on June 13, 2005.
NY1 FOLLOW-UP: In 2009, Jackson would be in the midst of planning comeback concert when he died at the age of 50. His doctor was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving him a lethal dose of medication.
