Leopard prints and a pink patch collection turned heads at the Betsey Johnson show at Lincoln Center. NY1's Cheryl Wills filed the following report.

Say what you want about Betsey Johnson, but this little lady sure knows hot to put on a show.

This year, the over-the-top designer split her show into two parts. The first half featured professional models who let the cat out of the bag. Leopard prints dominated the Fall 2011 collection along with some bold floral designs. Perhaps New York Housewives star Jill Zarin summed it up best.

"Young, fun, hip...like Bubblegum," said Zarin.

The standing room only crowd did double takes when during the second part of the fashion show, women of all shapes and sizes in Betsey's iconic blonde wigs hit the runway to show off the designer's new, low-priced "Pink Patch" line. The models were actually Betsey's employees.

"You put makeup, red lips and my wig on and you look like family. Everybody looks like my sister," Johnson said.

The designer called the show "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" and she took a moment to cut the rug with legendary designer and stylist Pat Fields.

"It's young, it's girl, it's color, it's energy, it's happy," said Fields.
