Embattled Queens state senator Malcolm Smith says he will run for re-election despite his troubles with the law.

Smith pleaded not guilty to bribery charges last spring.

Federal authorities arrested him in April in connection with a plot to bribe Republican leaders in Queens and the Bronx to help get the senator on the ballot for mayor as a Republican.

So far, two Democrats, Munir Avery and Clyde Vanel, have announced they will challenge Smith in a September primary.
