Making the most of his last few weeks in office, Mayor Michael Bloomberg made an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

The outgoing mayor joined in on the regular 'thank you notes' segment, poking fun at some of the highlights of his three terms in office.

"Thank you large sodas for not taking it personally,” Bloomberg said.

"Thank you Jay-Z for being such a special part of the city. But more importantly, thank you for letting me tell people we're friends,” Bloomberg said.

After 12 years as mayor, Bloomberg will leave office on January 1. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
