Rep. Charles Rangel has some tough words for Eliot Spitzer's attempted political comeback.

The dean of New York's congressional delegation says Spitzer's behavior while in office was "unheard of."

He's placing his support behind Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer in the comptroller's race.

"I don't know what demons he had in him, and I don't know how he got rid of them," Rangel said. "I don't have to go through that complication, psychological evaluation, with Scott Stringer."

Rangel said Stringer has earned the position, while Spitzer, he believes, has not. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
