The city is ripping a judge's decision to give an extension to Sandy victims who get money to stay in hotels.

Tuesday was the deadline for funding to be cut off for about 200 people.

However, a judge granted a temporary restraining order that extended the deadline to May 15.

The Bloomberg administration says the order is illegal and plans to challenge the ruling in court.

City officials say they are trying to work with victims to get them into permanent housing.
