Former head of city schools Cathie Black has a new job, two years after her infamous turn as chancellor.

Black, a former media executive and best-selling author, now writes a column for the website thedailymuse.com on how to succeed in the workplace.

She had a rocky three months as chancellor and faced harsh criticism that she did not have the experience for the job.

Black resigned in April of 2011.

She was replaced by current schools chancellor Dennis Walcott.
