The conspiracy trial for two former aides to City Comptroller John Liu will be delayed at least a few days over concerns about the mental health of one of the defendants.
Jenny Hou and Oliver Pan were supposed to go on trial Monday, but a pretrial report called Pan's mental health into question.
The trial will now start Wednesday at the earliest.
Pan's lawyers had no comment.
Pan was a fundraiser and Hou worked as campaign treasurer for Liu, who is expected to run for mayor.
Both have pleaded not guilty.
