Mayor Michael Bloomberg hit the number 10 spot on Forbes's list of the 400 Richest Americans.
Bloomberg's net worth stands at $25 billion, thanks to his company Bloomberg, LP.
The mayor also rounded out the top 20 of the magazine's annual list of the world's billionaires earlier this year.
Bill Gates took the number one spot for the 19th consecutive year with a net worth of $66 billion.
New York's richest resident, David Koch, is tied for fourth place with his brother Charles.
They each have a net worth of $31 billion.
