Former mayor Ed Koch said he's feeling fine after leaving the hospital Friday.

Koch was released from New York Presbyterian after he fell ill in North Carolina last weekend.

His doctor said blood loss during dental work is the likely cause.

The former mayor suffers from anemia and received blood transfusions this week.

He said it won't slow him down.

He's already returning to work.

"I have no fear of meeting my maker but if he wants to extend my life as he has so many times, I'm happy," Koch said.

Koch turns 88 this December.
