All proceeds from Joe Hurley's single "Rockaway," coming mid December, will go to Breezy Point Disaster Relief

AUCTION ITEMS include a signed guitar from Sting, gifts from film director Ed Burns, Random House hard covers of every single Dickens Novel signed by Lucinda Dickens.

Wonderful support from Irish Embassador Noel Kilkenny who organized a Day of Action where he brought all the Irish Communities of New York to the Rockaways to volunteer.

Steinway & Sons is sponsoring the event with a donated piano, Steinway Hall on 14th Street is where Dickens would give public readings in New York. Lucinda is the first member of the Dickens family to grace a New York City theatre since, approximately 150 years ago.

Lucinda is flying 3000 miles for one night just to do this show to help the Rockaways guests including Film Star Cara Seymour (Gangs of New York, Hotel Rwanda), Colum McCann and Jill Santoriello who's musical adaptation of Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities" was a Broadway hit, NY1's own Bob Hardt, New Yorker Editor Mary Norris, Actor Mike McGlone and Writer James Braly.

A Dickens Christmas for the Rockaways will be the first of a series of benefits in support of the Rockaways from Joe Hurley's Ourland.
