Governor Andrew Cuomo is leading GOP candidate and Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino by 32 points, according to the latest Siena College poll.
The 58-26 margin is down slightly from the 37-point lead Cuomo held last month.
Nine percent were undecided and another six percent chose Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins.
Voters were also asked about the ongoing investigation into the defunct Moreland Commission by U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara.
While many said corruption remains a problem in government, two-thirds of those polled didn't know about the investigation.
According to the poll only 32 percent of the voters have heard of the commission while 67 percent have not.
The poll has a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.
