The city Department of Consumer Affairs this week announced small business policy reforms.

The reforms work to reduce fines and cut bureaucracy for small business owners.

For example, the department will now issue only one fine for incomplete signs or record books, rather than their previous policy of issuing a fine for each piece of missing information.

First time offenders will now have 30 days to correct their signs without having to pay the fine. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
