Apple Issues Apology Over Maps Gaffe

Apple is apologizing to consumers for the iPhone 5's map function that's getting
users nowhere.

CEO Tim Cook issued the written public letter of apology Friday.

It comes after complaints from iPhone users that the maps application on the newest version of the phone do not function well.

Cook says the company fell short, is "extremely sorry," and is working hard to improve the feature.
