"Damn Yankees" is coming back to Broadway.
Sources tell NY1 the show is expected to debut next fall.
It's the show's first revival since 1994, and not the only show with a baseball link coming to the theater.
Another project will shine a spotlight on the personalities and triumphs of the real New York Yankees.
It will be created in collaboration with the team and Major League Baseball.
The Yankees chief operating officer says the team is looking forward to opening its archives and sharing its stories.
It's coming from the production team behind the shows "Lombardi" and "Magic/Bird."
