Next year's Tony Awards could be moving a little bit closer to the theatre district.
After two years at the Beacon Theatre on the Upper West Side, sources tell NY1 the Broadway League is negotiating to return the Tonys to Radio City Music Hall next June.
Radio City is a larger venue and is better able to accommodate the elaborate televised ceremony because there's a bigger stage and more space off stage.
The Tonys left Radio City because of a scheduling conflict with the Cirque du Soleil show Zarkana, but that booking is not on the calendar next year.
