Health officials in New Jersey are now linking four more cases of meningitis to back-pain steroids.

All four new cases received the steroid injection between July and September.

Officials in the Garden State say that brings their number of cases to eight.

The steroid shots have been linked to a Massachusetts-based pharmacy, where authorities are still investigating how the batches became tainted.

The company recalled all of the questionable batches, so they are no longer on the shelf.

The outbreak has so far claimed 14 lives and caused more than 170 others to become sick.
