There she goes. And now she's back. Leigh Nash and Matt Slocum scored big in the late 90's with their cover of "There She Goes" and their biggest hit "Kiss Me." Now Sixpence None The Richer has just released their first album of new music in five years. Perhaps referring to delays in its release, it's called "Lost in Transition."

And already there's a little controversy. Nash says some fans have misunderstood the song "Radio".

"I think a lot of people thought we were referring to listening to 'Kiss Me' on the radio and getting tired of it. It's more about having a song with someone and the relationship ends that song becomes difficult to listen to. So that's where that song is coming from. Not 'Don't ever let me hear 'Kiss Me' on the radio,'" Nash says.

Yes, "Kiss Me" looms large as a blessing and a curse.

"It sort of pigeonholed us to a certain type of 90's nostalgia, kind of certain type of jangly 90's guitar pop sound. But on the other hand the sort of financial success has sort of subsidized us to continue to make music," says Slocum.

Slocum says their sound today is more stripped down. Nash says being a mom to son Henry has also influenced the music.

"I think it started in pregnancy. My depth as a performer and a storyteller grew a ton," says Nash.

And if the audience still wants to hear "Kiss Me", Nash and Slocum say that's fine but they hope fans will embrace some new favorites soon too.
