"The Muppet Movie" and "Joe McGinty and the Loser's Lounge"
First up, why are there so many songs about rainbows? Well, find out this weekend with a screening of the classic Kermit flick "The Muppet Movie" at the Prospect Park Bandshell. But first, sing and dance with Joe McGinty and the Losers Lounge. It's all Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and part of the Celebrate Brooklyn concert series.
Chin Chih Yang's "Kill Me or Change"
Feel like burying yourself in art this weekend? You're not alone. Head to the Queen's Museum of Art to see artist Chin Chih Yang perform "Kill Me or Change." Thousands of aluminium cans will be dropped on Yang in a statement about overconsumption. Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
I ? BOB: The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Guy
Comic ballets are too few and far between but at the Joyce SoHo you can laugh along with Parallel Exit's comic ballet, "I ? BOB: The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Guy." It's been extended through Sunday with tickets starting at just $25.
Al Blackstone's "Happy We'll Be"
Al Blackstone is bringing his storytelling through dance to Roseland Ballroom now through Monday with his new work "Happy We'll Be." His choreography has also been seen on the TV dance competition So You Think You Can Dance. Tickets are $20.
I guess you really do need two to tango, so head over to Birdland to hear Pablo Ziegler and Regina Carter mix modern tango with jazz and classical music for the ultimate "TANGO CONEXION!" Tickets start at $30. Performances run now through Saturday.
Now we're even stephen...or we can be by checking out Liz Callaway's new show at Town Hall called "Even Stephen." Monday night, Liz and friends will be showcasing the music of Stephen Flaherty, Stephen Schwartz and Stephen Sondheim. Tickets are $55.

Anytime now through November, see sumptuous and voluptuous sculptures by the late Niki de Saint Phalle along Park Avenue from 52nd through 60th Street.
Alyse Kenny Presents…It’s a Charity Thing! at Gotham Comedy Club
Alyse Kenny organizes comedy shows to help raise money for a different charity each month! Tonight, the show benefits The Wedding Party, which supports marriage equality.
The show begins at 9 p.m. and is located at 208 West 23rd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. Tickets are $20. A two-drink minimum is required.
Meshell N'degeocello/Jason Moran "Fats Waller Dance Party"
A free outdoor concert featuring the critically acclaimed “Fats Waller Dance Party” created by pianist/composer Jason Moran and singer/songwriter/bassist Meshell Ndegeocello, both of whom will perform, kicks off Harlem Stage’s 30th Anniversary season on Saturday, July 28, starting at 5 p.m. at Annunciation Park/Bruce Paltrow Field, adjacent to the historic Harlem Stage Gatehouse.
