"Microscopic Landscape" is making a big impact in its new, temporary home in Union Square. 22-year-old Malcolm MacDougall, an artist with an interest in the natural sciences, says the steel sculpture was inspired by bacteria and cells as seen through, you guessed it, a microscope.
