NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Arts reporter Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

"Elephant Room" Vaudevillean Magic Act

Make some magic Thursday night at St. Ann's Warehouse in Dumbo, with Elephant Room. It stars a trio of magicians performing a vaudevillian magic act. Elephant Room runs through Sunday, April 8th. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets start at $25.

Back to the 80's Show

If you remember Tiffany, then you must love the 80's! This Friday and Saturday night head to the Canal Room and rock out with Tiffany and the ultimate eighties tribute band, Rubix Cube. The "Back to the 80's Show" starts at 11:30 p.m. and tickets are $30 in advance.

"Urban Odyssey" show

Let puppeteers "LOCO 7" pull some strings for you with their new show, Urban Odyssey. It's a drama about the experience of immigrants traveling to the United States, featuring actors and puppets. Showtime is Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $25.
