Tens of thousands of people jammed Sixth Avenue Monday night in some of the funniest, scariest, and most creative costumes imaginable at the 39th annual Village Halloween Parade.

This year's theme was "I of the Beholder" with giant eyeballs floating above the street.

Along with some of the classics such as skeletons, bats, zombies and aliens, some parade goers went outside of the box with their costume.

"Metrocard Man! Able to leap over a token turnstile in a single bound!" shouted one reveler decked out in MetroCards.

Organizers say the Village Halloween Parade is the largest celebration of its kind in the world.

Meantime, the Occupy Wall Street Protestors also took part by parading their banner along Sixth Avenue.

While they marched in costume their political views took center stage.

From income inequality to worries over the environment, the protestors made their causes known.

An estimated 300 Occupy Wall Street protestors marched in the parade.
