In honor of March being Women's History Month, the Zagat Restaurant guide reviewed two locations where female chefs are winning accolades for their cuisine.

John Dory
85 East 10th Avenue

The guide says chef April Bloomfield offers simple, uncomplicated presentations of British seafood at this West Chelsea newcomer.

Fans add the décor is an over-the-top celebration of all things aquatic and note the seashell-heavy setting with fish rendered in tile, stained glass and under Lucite. But some surveyors warn the space is surprisingly small, so brace yourself for tough reservations.

John Dory is not yet rated in the Zagat guide, but prices are listed as expensive.

The Harrison
355 Greenwich Street
1-212-274-9310

According to the guide, Chef Amanda Freitag is cooking "delightful" Mediterranean-inspired dishes to rave reviews at this "classy" TriBeCa New American joint.

Fans praise "smooth" service and "Hamptons-in-the-city" décor, while others say the "cool, casual" feel makes the "upscale" pricing easy to digest.

Out of a possible 30, the Harrison gets a 24 for food, a 21 for décor and a 23 for service. The average price of a meal here is $61.
