E. coli concerns have prompted a major recall of ground beef.
A Nebraska meatpacker is recalling over 40,000 pounds of beef distributed in 16 states, including New York.
Tyson Fresh Meats is specifically targeting 10 pound packages of chuck ground beef.
The Agriculture Department's Food Safety and Inspection Service said the problem was discovered through routine monitoring that confirmed a positive result for E. coli.
No reports of illness have been reported.
