The 1980s Emmy-winning TV program "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" is heading to Broadway.
TV and film star Paul Reubens, 57, is bringing his character Pee-Wee Herman to the stage this fall.
Producers say the new comedy will include elements from Reubens's 1980s stage show and TV show.
The 90-minute play will also feature many of the TV show's cast of characters and puppets.
The limited engagement show will run for six weeks at the Stephen Sondheim Theater, starting October 26.
