Police are investigating a triple stabbing on a Manhattan subway early Sunday morning that left two men dead.

Police say an argument broke out between two groups of people on a downtown 2 local train near the Christopher Street station around 5 a.m.

The train stopped and police were called to the Houston Street station.

It's unclear exactly what happened but police say they found two 24-year-old men and a 23-year-old man with several stab wounds.

They were taken to Saint Vincent's Hospital where both of the 24-year-olds were pronounced dead.

The 23-year-old victim was treated for wounds to the neck and arm.

No arrests have been made.
