Repair Work Keeps 1 Train Service Disrupted

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is working around the clock to fix a Manhattan subway station station that suffered a partial ceiling collapse, but 1 train service will not be fully restored until at least next week.

The MTA is posting photos of the repair work being done at the 181st Street station on Twitter.

Because of construction work, 1 trains are not running between 168th Street and Dyckman Street.

Downtown trains are also skipping 207th Street.

Free shuttle buses are running between 168th Street and Dyckman Street.

The M3 bus is also free for commuters traveling between 168th and 191st Streets.
