Mayor Michael Bloomberg is apparently gearing up, albeit quietly, for his third mayoral campaign.
A team hired to help Bloomberg win re-election moved into its Midtown headquarters this week.
Bloomberg has also hired strategist Basil Smikle, who used to work for one of his competitors. Smikle worked for Congressman Anthony Weiner until just a few months ago.
