Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani spent Christmas Eve bringing presents to children at the Mother Hale Learning Center in Manhattan.
Giuliani was joined by former US Attorney and learning center board chair Zachary Carter.
The two spent Wednesday morning at the Morningside Heights center giving out toys to the children and reading Christmas stories.
Giuliani has been coming to the center since 1994.
"It takes care of children, it's been doing it for years. Zach and the board have been terrific at saving it and having it flourish and I enjoy coming here every year," said Giuliani.
Mother Hale Learning Center offers affordable childcare and education for children ages six weeks to five-years-old.
Meanwhile, the former mayor said he would rather not get involved in the senate seat debate.
"I think the governor has to make the decision. And of course, I'd be the last one to make recommendations for a Democratic appointment to the senate. I think the governor's got to appoint who he believes will fight best for the state, and for the city," said Giuliani.
As a Republican, Giuliani said he would support Representative Peter King from Long Island for the position but stressed that it's ultimately the governor's decision.
